    To start off, my friend :iconkatsh: is in serious need of some work. Please check out her gallery and look at her very expressive style and gorgeous women (my personal favourite ;) ). A great person to work with if you commission artists often. You won't regret it, I promise!

    So, Speed Racer.... I LOVED IT! I had anticipated this movie to either be complete camp garbage or just something I would ignore altogether. Granted, I had a free pass, but I want to think that I'm honest when I say this is a good movie. Not just entertaining and eye candy, but a really great movie. Awesome shots, great pacing, really good story (seriously!) , and yes if you're into special effects jerk-offs, this movie is for you. Even better is taking the most annoying character from the cartoon, Spridal, and making him the BEST character of the movie. And Christina Ricci is SMOKING as Trixie. And for you ladies, Rain (K-pop idol and actor) plays an awesome role as the Japanese team driver.

    Put the cartoon out of your mind, don't pay any heed to the God-awful trailers and just go see this thing!

    My poor wife... Speed Racer, Iron Man, Batman, Hulk and the Will Smith superhero movie... I am going to owe her SO many chick flicks....

    Great to know that you liked Speed Racer. I've been looking forward to it for a long while. It really does look amazing and I'm glad to hear that movie itself holds up. Thanks for sharing.
